What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today, I will give you a short summary of what happened in the NBA Trade Deadline. Let's start!

It was a nice trade deadline in the Eastern Conference as contending teams made their last minute moves to add enough firepower for their teams just in time to get ready for the playoffs. The monsters in the Eastern Conference also competed with each other in the trade deadline. The first seed Milwaukee Bucks acquired Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchanged with Stanley Johnson, Jason Smith and some 2nd round picks while the Toronto Raptors traded Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, CJ Miles, and a 2nd rounder to the Memphis Grizzlies for their veteran center Marc Gasol.

Gasol is knows as a defensive center who can also score in the paint and from long range. He's getting old but he still can produce big numbers on both ends of the floor. Giving Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry a center like that will surely makes things easier for them. The Gasol, Leonard and Ibaka defense will surely be a nightmare for every team. For the Bucks, they will add up another shooter who can stretch the floor after acquiring Mirotic. That would help Giannis penetrate more to the rim and can help him get some assists. That has been the biggest moves in the last minutes of the NBA trade deadline. It will be a lot tougher competition for the top teams in the East.

The Philadelphia 76ers also traded the number overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft Markelle Fultz who's completely seen as a bust because he couldn't live up to the expectations and also failed in helping the process in Philly. The Sixers finally gave up on him after so many chances that they've given him. They dealt him to the Orlando Magic who's needing a point guard. Sixers received Jonathan Simmons plus a 1st and 2nd round pick.

The Anthony Davis Sweepstakes has ended!

We all waited in the Anthony Davis saga but it didn't happen as the NBA Trade deadline passed by and all the Lakers fans' hopes to land AD has come to an end. AD will stay with the Pelicans for the rest of the season and will try to hear more offers in the off-season. There are reports that the Boston Celtics already proposed a trade that will send Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart and Al Horford to the Pelicans in exchange with AD but they will have to wait until summer. L.A. fans are surely frustrated with the outcome of the deadline after not getting anything significant and all it cause was drama in the locker room.

Other people thinks that the Pelicans just ruined L.A.'s chemistry and they do not truly wanted to engaged to any deal with the Lakers. In L.A.'s game against the Indiana Pacers, the team looks like they are not in their real self as they were blown out by the Pacers by more than 40 points. It was a devastating defeat by the Lakers and ended up as LeBron's worst defeat in his career. NBA fans thought that this is the end for the Lakers and they will never get back to their old self as the players who's names are involved in the trade talks might not play well again for the Lakers.

But despite all of that, after the trade deadline passes, L.A. showed that they are already back and they are now focus again in winning after all the dramas and trade talks as they upset the Boston Celtics in the Garden on Thursday night. LeBron and the Lakers played a great game and end the game with a sweet buzzer beater from veteran guard and former Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo. The Lakers are now back in action and the whole Western Conference must be ready for them because they can be scary in a seven game series in the playoffs.

That is all for today folks! The Trade deadline has ended and we now can move on and get ready for the playoffs. Which team are you rooting for? Do you like the outcome of the NBA trade deadline? Well, I would love to hear your thoughts so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
