What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about how Boston will try to trade for Anthony Davis and who are the possible assets they can give to the Pelicans. Let's do this!

No one is safe in Boston in their pursuit on Anthony Davis except Kyrie Irving. After the Lakers failed in trading for AD, the Celtics are now said to be the front runner in acquiring the all-star power forward. Despite not being in AD's list of preferred destinations, Boston are still desperate in acquiring him even if it's possibly a one-year rental only. There's also no guarantee too that Kyrie will stay with the next summer.

So, it will be a critical off season for the Celtics and the worst scenario for them because they might not get AD or trade for him for a one-year rental and loose some young stars and key players, and loose Kyrie Irving. There are a lot of risk so they should think about every decision that they will make next summer.

Look at how stacked is Boston's assets right now. They have young players who has potentials to be superstars like Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier and Jayson Tatum. They have Marcus Smart who is a smart and tough defensive guard who will not back down from anyone and will provide a lot of energy for his team. And lastly, they have Gordon Hayward who is a proven superstar before breaking his leg. He's having a slow start this season but showing some flashes of how good he is. All of those players would be great assets that will surely meet what the Pels wants in a trade for AD.

There's more assets that the Boston Celtics can include in a trade other than all of those players. They have their own first round picks, the Sacramento Kings' first round picks, the Memphis Grizzlies 2019 top-8 protected pick, top-6 protected in 2020, unprotected in 2021 and the Los Angeles Clippers' first round lottery pick.

That was a bunch of picks that the Pelicans would surely want so Boston is really in a nice position to pull off an AD trade. This is getting close now and the Celtics has a very bright future with these assets in their hands. Let's see how much the Pelicans can get out of AD.

That is all for today folks! What are your thoughts? Let me hear your opinions about this article so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
