What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about Kyrie Irving and his Boston Celtics. Let's do this!

At the start of the 2018-2019 season, Kyrie had a verbal commitment to all Celtics fans in the Garden that he is going to stay in Boston and he's happy there. But after a rough season with his Celtics team and all the struggles they've faced, looks like Kyrie's future wearing a Boston jersey is nearing to an end. He roasted his young team mates in one game after loosing before the all-star break. Then, recently, Irving took again a shot at his team mates after loosing to the Milwaukee Bucks. He stated that they have a bunch of young men in their locker room that feels like they’re capable of doing a lot more than what they’re doing now and that’s okay, but there’s a maturing that they have to have. He also said that he is not getting the minutes that he wanted to play and he is a 26 years old superstar who is entering his prime so why should he have to wait for anybody.

More than one year has past where Kyrie has become a leader of his own team and is not playing anymore under LeBron's shadow but his Celtics team looks to struggle under his leadership even after he finished every night with terrific numbers. The Boston Celtics, who are projected to be the top seed in the East because of their young, talented and strong roster is now sitting at the 5th seed with a 37-22 record.

Due to all of these struggles and dramas between Kyrie and the Boston Celtics, people thinks that Kyrie will be leaving soon and will not likely to stay with the Celtics. But somehow, every situation will have to be considered. First, the result of this season. Where will the Celtics end up after the regular season? Will they finish at the top of the East? Then, up to what round of the playoffs will they last? Can they make it to the finals? What I'm saying here is, whatever the result of their 2018-2019 season, it will affect Kyrie's decision in the off-season. If they reach the Finals and loose to the Warriors, do you think he will stay and comeback stronger the following season to finish off his business? If they beat the Warriors and win a championship, do you think he will still leave? We never know what decision he will make. I think it still defends on what's going to be the outcome of their 2018-2019 season. I believe Kyrie himself is still not thinking about it for now. i think he himself still don't know what he's going to do.

Another factor here is Anthony Davis. If the Celtics succeed in trading for Davis, Kyrie would likely to stay in my opinion. This duo here can be a huge threat in the whole league. But with the Knicks wanting to pair Irving with Durant in New York and LeBron James hinting a reunion in Los Angeles, Irving will be having a hard time thinking about what decision will he make in the off-season. But in my opinion, AD and Kyrie can help each other in making their decisions. If Boston acquire AD, Kyrie will stay. And if Kyrie will stay, AD might also stay and commit long term with the Boston Celtics, but the worst case here is if the Celtics failed to trade of AD and Kyrie leave in the off-season. Let's see what will Kyrie Irving do and what will the Celtics do to get both superstars stay.

That is all for today folks! I would be glad to hear your opinions about this topic so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
