What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the top players who can help the Los Angeles Lakers and keep their playoff hopes alive. Let's do this!

The Los Angeles Lakers are a mess right now and I'm sure people will always put the blame on LeBron James. There's a very little hope remaining now for the Lakers to make the playoffs and the window is getting slimmer for them as they lost again to another beatable team which is the Memphis Grizzlies. They recently lost to the New Orleans Pelicans(Without Anthony Davis) and the Atlanta Hawks. I don't understand what the hell is happening to the team because they can win games against top tier teams like the Houston Rockets and then loosing to the weak teams? What's happening there? The number one issue is their chemistry. Since LeBron publicly recruited Anthony Davis and the Lakers tried to trade they young players all for AD, that's when the team's togetherness tear down. Their mindset changed and they're desire to win and make the playoffs is now questionable. It's a mess already and it's too late to fix it late at this point.

Defense is a huge liability for L.A. They are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. They just can't defend right. Especially now that Lonzo Ball is sidelined and it will took a while longer before he steps up on the floor again. Ball I think is their best defensive player right now and his injury took a major shot to the team. JaVale is not playing that good for them, I even think Zubac is a better option on both ends of the floor so they might now regretting trading the young fella.

When you look how the Lakers play, you can see it clearly, they are not having fun anymore. They are all worried about the possible outcome of this season and the young guys are not ready mentally. Ingram is showing up these past few days but still it's just not enough. He's terrific at the offensive end of the floor but the defense overall is not fine.

I have here one option for the Lakers that I'm sure will help the team big time if it becomes possible. L.A. should consider looking at the buyout market and the possible players to be bought out. And in my opinion, DeAndre Jordan is the best option for them. The Knicks are now going anywhere this season and they are intentionally tanking to get Zion Williamson in the NBA Draft and Jordan would not be thrilled to play for a tanking team. So I think that he will be bought out soon by the Knicks and this is the best chance for the Lakers to load up and keep their playoff hopes alive. The Lakers don't have a legit center right now who can protect the rim and dominate the boards, so getting DJ can solve their problem before it's too late. The only question is if DJ is willing to join the struggling Lakers or will he find other teams that have a better chance in making it to the playoffs or even the finals.

That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your opinions about this article so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)
