What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about why Paul George is my MVP this season. Let's do this!

Paul George has taken the league by storm with his incredible performances this season leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to the 3rd place in the Western Conference. George is currently in his prime at 28 years old averaging 28.6 points, 4.3 assists, 8.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 45 percent from the field and 40 percent from the three point line.

George is the complete package. He is the most efficient player on both ends of the floor. He has tremendous skill sets offensively and shooting the ball consistently. And in defense, he is killing his opponents with his elite perimeter defense and he's so good in playing the passing lanes. Do you know why George so good right now? It's because he is so confident in what he can do on the floor. He believes that he is the best player on the court every night and that lifts his game to another level. Another good thing about George's game is, he always wanted the crowd to be involve in the game. He wanted them to enjoy and get what they paid for. What I mean is even in a close game, George will always do incredible things like throwing a windmill dunk in transition even if the game is tied and the clock is ticking down. He is a competitor and a tough one. He will always get back to you if you get into him.

Now, let's put this into details. We all know that Russell Westbrook always wanted the ball in his hands and George is also so good with the ball in his hands too, so why is George still an efficient scorer when Russell handles the ball most of the time? Here is the thing, George is already embracing the role of an off-ball scorer. He is a very efficient catch and shoot scorer. He loves to run through screens and put up nice shooting jump shots every time he finds himself open when he catches the ball.

He has all the tools to be a great off-ball scorer. With his nice footwork, he can quickly get into balance to keep his rhythm and shot comfortably and he has a high and quick release that prevents the opponent to challenge the shot. George sees the floor smartly and locates where his opponent will have a hard time guarding him. He can also play the pick and pop smartly to get him wide open for a jump shot.

The best thing about PG13 is when the game is on the line. He when he should take over and win the game. He's starting to get a feel when he should take over the game and he understands how he should do it in different situations in a game. PG13 is so deadly that if he see a space in front of him he will take the shot if he's in range. And if a defender is too close, he can blow him by his crossovers and attack the rim.

George has been a great off-ball scorer with his stay in Oklahoma City playing alongside Westbrook but we should not forget that he is also an outstanding is player who can beat anyone one-on-one. He's even more comfortable playing iso ball.

Most players are not the same as Paul George who is a very patient player that is always looking for the best shot possible. He is not taking too many bad shots and he can consume all the time on the shot clock just to get the best shot possible.

Now, do you know why Paul George is having the best season of his career? The most important thing about PG's game this season and why he is so good is because Paul George is having FUN every time he steps on the floor and play basketball. And when you're having fun, the result is always positive. When you're having fun, you can get the most out of you and used it against your opponent. Look at the Golden State Warriors. They are having fun that's why they're playing well every night. Look at the Celtics right now, and the Lakers, they're a mess because they are not having fun playing. George's decision staying with the Oklahoma City Thunder is worth it in my opinion. I think he did the right choice and it's all paying now.

That is all for today folks! Thank you for following me @dwin0603. Is PG13 your MVP too? I would be glad to hear your opinions about this article so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! :)

I'll leave you with some PG13 highlights. Enjoy!!! :)
