What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about LeBron's thought about missing the playoffs. Let's begin!

After 14 years of dominance, LeBron is now on the verge of missing the playoffs. It was a very long time since he missed it and the world is very different back then. James only shows how dominant he is during that period of time. He did not only make the playoffs but he appeared in 8 straight Finals. That's a feat that no one easily repeats. But despite all that, it's been also a very disappointing first season of LBJ with the Lakers where he suffered an injury that sidelined him for the longest time in his career.

L. A. 's playoff hopes are almost over now and LeBron is ready about this. He said that this is not something he wasn' t expecting. But even if he's ready about this, he should feel very different. He's been then for 14 years and now it stopped, he should be feeling different now. The media is also putting the blame on him and trying to hurt his legacy.

James said in an interview that this season was very challenging. He said that he kind of knew what he was getting before joining the Lakers. It's a tough situation and there is no guarantee of success there. You start with a bunch of young guys and some aging veterans with a coach that hasn't proved anything in his young career of coaching, it's hard to lift up a team like that.

James' close friend D-Wade also had something to say about LeBron's journey with L.A. Wade said that it is a good thing. Not only for his aging body but also mentally. He needed a mental break and it can help him. Despite that age, he's still very good at this game, look at his stats, he said. But he's been doing it for a very long time and he should take a break and get away from it for a bit. It will surely help.

It's a very different feeling also for the fans to watch the playoffs without LeBron James. It's just way too different. There are no clear projections who will win in the East now. It will be great for the whole league to see a different taste of the Finals but we will miss LBJ in the postseason. And for him, he will have a long break and earlier than usual.

That is all for today folks! I would be glad to hear your thoughts about this article so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk! 😁
