Hello basketball fans! Let's have another NBA talk and our topic for today is the Jimmy Butler situation in Minnesota. It's been more than two weeks since Butler demanded a trade but Minnesota is being patient in finding a good trade pieces for him.

The Jimmy Butler sweepstakes is still on going and many teams have offered and have been offered but it seems like no one is willing to give up the asking price they wanted. Butler recently had a scene in the Wolves' practice. He dominated the practice game with the third strings on his side and beat the hell out of Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and other starters. Butler was yelling at his team mates saying that he wants to hear what they are thinking. He want them to talk to him and he's not taking it personal. He just want them to give their heart and give more to the game.

Butler is frustrated with his young team mates as they don't take it seriously and don't have enough firepower and energy to win a championships. We all saw it last post season. Towns looks like he's not on his mind in a crucial moment and Wiggs didn't show up. Butler is not getting any younger and he already wants to compete for the championship. And it's also the reason why they play, to win in the finals and win the Larry O'Brien trophy.

Many things have happened when this drama started. And many rumors are circling around the league about this situation. Butler said in an interview that Towns is the most talented player in their team and Wiggins is the most gifted but he also stated that he is the most hardworking player on their team and that's the most important thing to have. For him, he is what Minnesota needs to win and to compete agains other power house teams in the west. He even yelled at practice that they won't win without him. That's a big statement and people have their own opinions about this situation.

Minnesota legend Kevin Garnett roasted Jimmy Butler in an interview and has a lot to say to him. He said Butler thinks he's worth more than he actually is. He also defended Towns and Wiggins, and even Gorgui Dieng. He said that those are his guys and he's rooting for them. Garnett also said Jimmy is a good player but not in a level of Kevin Durant and LeBron James and he don't have the power to do that in practice and he don't think that Jimmy has enough juice to be like that. That was a huge statement from the hall of famer.

Recently, after so many rumors and speculations, one legit trade was reported. According to Chris Sheridan of Get More Sports, the minnesota Timberwolves offered Jimmy Butler in exchange for shooting guard Kris Middleton. And what's surprising about this is the Bucks turned down their offer. Wow. Imagine if Giannis and Jimmy team up in the Eastern Conference. They can be an instant top 3 to 4th seed in the East if that trade was accepted. The Bucks will be a formidable team especially in defense and scarier in offense with 2 of the top tier players.

I don't know why the Bucks did not accept the offer. Do they just want a legit gunner who can shoot threes consistently? or there is really something wrong with Butler's character? I don't know but this might be a trade that the Bucks might regret in the future. The Bucks are only open to trade Eric Bledsoe's huge contract and former rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon. If the Wolves is fine with Bledsoe and Brogdon then there might be a deal but I don't think that would be enough for them. I think they will find more options and be patient even if they will start the season with Jimmy still on their roster.
