In the NBA, It's hard to find success even if you have a top superstar in your roster. We find teams that are very exciting to watch every year but we know that they didn't have a shot for the championship. That's because there are too many stacked teams and in today's NBA, one all-star in a roster is not enough to compete with other top teams. A team should have two or more all-stars to be a legit contender especially in the Western Conference. Now I am going to discuss the teams that might give up on their franchise players and make some changes in their rosters.

                                          Portland Trail Blazers

After a hot regular season for the Portland Trail Blazers last season, their superstar back court Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are in trade talks this off-season. They were terrific last regular season but a disappointment in the first round of the playoffs after falling 0-4 to the New Orleans Pelicans.

After their poor playoffs run, everybody now was thinking what was wrong with the team. Maybe the team is better without one of their stars and maybe the best thing to do is to trade one of them. If Portland still didn't find success, don't be surprise if they trade either Damian Lillard or CJ McCollum.

                                           Washington Wizards

Another one of the best back courts in the NBA today might be separated as the Washington Wizards still failed to become a true contender in the weak Eastern Conference last season. John Wall and Bradley Beal has been trying to win for years but still didn't able to make it to the Eastern Conference finals. Is it lack of role players? or their poor character in the playoffs? or maybe other teams are just better than them.

Now that Wall and Beal has a legit and athletic big man in Dwight Howard to rely inside the paint, maybe they'll improve from last year. Wall and Beal are both all-stars last season but still, one of them may be in danger of being traded if the Wizards still didn't thrive in the playoffs. I think this year is the best suited for them now that LeBron James is now gone in the Eastern Conference. If they failed this season I think the Wizards association will be force to trade one of them.

                                          New Orleans pelicans

Anthony Davis is one of the best players in the league today and many teams desired to land the all-star power forward. The Pelicans finished well last season beating the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round but they just aren't lucky because they faced the Golden State Warriors again early in the playoffs. Although they fall to the Warriors, they still had a great year but there are some important pieces that they lost like Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins.

They still have a good team and they already strengthen their front court by adding Julius Randle and Jahlil Okafor and they signed Elfrid Payton as their backup for Jrue Holiday. They also have a great coach in Alvin Gentry who already proved that he can take the Pelicans to another level.

If the Pelicans still fails in the playoffs or they still not get pass the second round I think that Anthony Davis will force his way out in New Orleans and find a team that can compete for a championship. The Pelicans will surely get another all-star and future first round picks in exchange for Anthony Davis and many teams are surely willing to give up their assets just to grab Anthony Davis.
