Hello basketball fans! Let's have some basketball talk once again and now I am going to give you some short NBA recap for games played today! Let's start!

The Toronto Raptors defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 127-106 on Monday night. Toronto goes up to 4-0 to start the season with their brand new team led by Kawhi Leonard. Toronto looks better this season with their new style. They're passing the ball well and playing defense more aggressively. They also shot well from the field. Kawhi had been a big boost defensively for Toronto. The Raptors looks pretty good in their inside passing to easily score a basket close to the rim. They have a pretty nice extra passing in the paint and that was very effective the whole game.

Leonard led the Raptors in scoring with his 22 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Kawhi made four three-pointers and looks like the mid-range shot had become his most deadly weapon. He shot 64.3 percent from the field. Kyle Lowry had a double-double 16 points, 2 rebounds, 14 assists, 2 steals and 1 block who shot 55.6 percent from the field. Danny Green had been very effective for Toronto as he contributed 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks.

For Charlotte, Kemba still plays at an all-star level as he recorded 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 still shooting 50 percent from the field. Kemba has been carrying the Hornets for years now but they couldn't get to a level of a contender even in the weak Eastern Conference.

Notable contributors are Jonas Valanciunas with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Serge Ibaka with 15 points and 8 rebounds, and CJ Miles and Fred VanVleet with 8 points apiece.

Can this be Toronto's season? Can they finally make it to the finals? The Eastern Conference is the Easiest path to the Finals and the Raptors are looking pretty solid with Kawhi Leonard. Did the Raptors did the right decision on letting go of their beloved franchise player in their hopes on winning a championship with another star player? It's very early to say that the trade was worth it but Toronto's early success make an immediate impact as the fans goes crazy as Kawhi Leonard continues to play in his primed mode. What are your thoughts?

Toronto's next game will be against Minnesota on Wednesday night while Hornets will host Chicago also on Wednesday night.
