What a night for both teams as they showed the crowd one of the best games and best duels for the 2018-2019 season. Kyrie Irving and Victor Oladipo goes toe-to-toe but Dipo and the Pacers won it, 102-101 on Saturday night with Victor Oladipo's game winning dagger!

Game Recap

The Indiana Pacers started the game with great defense making some stops and scoring in transition starting the game 7-0 in the first minutes of the first period. But the Celtics responded with a 12-0 run with their excellent ball movement. Marcus Morris has been playing pretty well for the Celtics as he gives the Celtics some offensive fire power these fast few games. Boston is the best defensive team in the NBA and they showed why. Indiana couldn't get easy buckets as the Celtics edge them in the first period, 28-18.

The Pacers kept the game close in the second period with the help of Tyreke Evans and TJ Leaf off the bench scoring some buckets helping Oladipo in offense. On the other hand, Marcus Morris is not yet finish in the first as he was still red hot in the second continually draining his outside shots. Pacers tie the game at 45 outscoring the Celtics in the second quarter, 27-17.

The Pacers got momentum at the start of the third quarter but still Marcus Morris' hot shooting did not let the Pacers increased their lead. Kyrie Irving and Terry Rozier also helps Morris with their threes to regain the lead then Tyreke Evans ties the game at the buzzer at the end of the third.

It was a tough battle in the fourth as no one wants to give an inch to each other. They are trading baskets the whole quarter to keep the game close. Tyreke Evans took over at the opening mark of the fourth and the Celtics start with great team ball. In the middle of the fourth, it was raining three-pointers as both teams uses their outside shooting as multiple players hits consecutive threes. With a minute remaining in the game and Boston leading 98-95, Dipo hits a step-back jumper to cut the deficit to 1 point. And with 37 seconds left, Irving hits a contested three to increase the lead to 4. Indiana scores immediately to cut it to two then Boston missed the shot in the next possession. With 10 seconds left in the clock, Boston leading 101-99, Dipo hits a well-contested dagger three-pointer to seal the victory!
