Carmelo Antony has been treated so badly these past few days because of the Houston Rockets' early struggles for the season. After being traded from the Oklahoma City to the Atlanta Hawks then waived, Anthony thought that he found the right place for him in Houston. But it's a lot of misunderstanding and all of Houston's problem are being pointed to Carmelo Anthony.

The 16-year veteran is about to be waived by the Houston Rockets if the rumors are correct or he could be traded very soon. There are rumors that the Rockets are working on a deal for Melo to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Solomon Hill. His value is continuously decreasing and he was mistreated and disrespected by many people.

Man, Melo is one of the best players to ever play the game. I don't know why people are treating him like this. He don't deserve this kind of shit and he should still be playing in the league today. I know he's past his prime and he's not the same player back in his Denver and New York days but he can still be productive off the bench in any team.

However, even if the Houston Rockets dealt Anthony, I'm sure there's still a lot of teams who will pursue him. And today I'll give you my list of Melo's possible destinations.

Los Angeles Lakers

The main reason why I thought of the Lakers as Melo's possible destination is because of his close friend LeBron James. The Lakers have a balance roster now containing of young players and a group of proven veterans and adding another veteran who can provide scoring for the second unit is not a bad idea. This could be a risk because L. A. really struggles in defense and adding Melo could add more problem defensively. But it's not a big deal if they are going to play Melo for 15 to 20 minutes only. Tyson Chandler also is a great help and his defense would surely cover up Melo's defensive flaws.

Philadelphia 76ers

Philly needs more shooter. That's it. They just need more shooter and Melo is still a reliable shooter. They just need to utilize him correctly. Philly lacks shooters because of the trade for Jimmy Butler. They lost 2 great shooters in Robert Covington and Dario Saric and that's a big blow for them. JJ Redick is their only legit shooter right now. Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons also couldn't shoot and I don't see them develop their shooting soon. That problem can be solve by signing Carmelo Anthony and also Kyle Korver who was in their interest according to rumors.

Golden State Warriors

This is the best place for Carmelo Anthony in my opinion. The Warriors are the best team in the league and even though what people said about Melo being a cancer is true, it will still not be a huge effect for them. The Warriors are so good that whoever they take, it will contribute for them. Also, Melo could get his much awaited championship in Golden State and would get the chance to get a ring. Melo could add more firepower for them off the bench and I think he can slightly revive his career in Oakland. This can be the greatest destination for him right now to save his career.

What do you think guys? Let's have some basketball talk and let me hear your thoughts!
