Bob Cousy awarded with NBA MVP throphy.. He averaged 20.6 points, 7.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds in 1956-57 NBA season. Also Bill Russell played great in first championship season. He averaged 14.7 points and 19.6 rebounds and that was his rookie season! After this season Russell took control of the Celtics and carried them to next 8 championships..
