From now on i am going to share posts about NBA history with todays date. I will try to make you remember some important and good memories in history.. If we don't remember the history we would forget many great examples which would guide us for greatness..

Today we go back 60 years ago, August 14, 1959

Yes, NBA Legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson is born in Lansing, Michigan.August 14, 1959.. Many people believes that he is the best point guard in NBA history. (I also beleve in that!) No one could performed his passing skills ever in the basketball history.. His behind the back moves and no-look passes were his signature..

Magic was selected first overall in the 1979 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers and spent all his career with the same team.. He averaged of 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 11.2 assists and 1.9 steals in his 13 years of NBA career, he led the Lakers to 9 NBA Finals and they had 5 championships with him. He also earned 3 MVP awards, 10 times reached the All-NBA First and Second Team nominations.. He also made 12 times All-Star game appearances.

In 1991 he had very unfortunate disease and his HIV test results came up positive and he had to leave NBA on that date.. Luckly he fought well with AIDS and he turned back to NBA in 1996 for one final season.. Later in 2007, ESPN rated him "The greatest NBA point guard of all times"

Now he is the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, which has value more than a $ billion.. He is also a published author and so far he published 7 books about the basketball and life..

On his 60th birthday he publishes some of his BEST's on his official twitter account today! Here is the Magic's best lists: (https://twitter.com/MagicJohnson)
