Recently NBA management banned ninja style head bands and lots of people found it very unnecessary. I believe that's have no sense and every player should free to use any accessories unless it's harmfull for other players. Jimmy Butler, Jrue Holiday and Montrezl Harrell was some of the player they were wearing it in last season.. There are more examples in NBA history and i want you to remind those accessories.

1980: NBA management banned golden chains for safety and if you think todays basketball yes it could be dangerous. Many players used to wear chains specially Philadelphia 76ers player Darryl Dawkins. He used to wear multiple chains and i believe NBA management was right about that.

1984: NBA just banned multiple coloured sneakers this time. In first game of preseason Michael Jorden wored his black and white Air Jordan's and everyone was wearing only white sneakers that time and NBA never wanted to change that rule. So they banned MJ's beaiful sneakers.. When we check it today there no only white ones, nearly all sneakers is multi colored and even you can write something on them :) So for today that rule is rubbish..

2000: NBA has banned "Durags", the Indiana Pacers player Sam Perkins was wearing it and i believe it is unnecessary to wear it, they play basketball not showing their style. He was only player to wear Durag and i think NBA was right to ban it. What would you say?

By the way Sam Perkins still wears durags at the age of 58 :)

2006: Los Angeles Lakers stars Kobe Bryant weared long tights for the first games of the season and later many players started wear it. NBA wanted to banned this style but players talked with their doctors and they said "the players would use them because of their health".. After that which players wears them they should have the doctor report. So still NBA players can use long tights with thier doctors reports. That means NBA management was lost in this case..

2009: Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade started to use Band Aid and he put his name or nickname "Flash" on it for his injured face. He didn't quit to wear it after his face is healed and the NBA management ended the story.. Banned!

2010: The Athletic Propulsion Labs company has just founded sneakers which has jump-boosting tech and that would make player jump more. Some players started to wear those sneakers but NBA management has banned it to block the unfair conditions between players. I think that was the right call..

2011: We have Dwyane Wade again. He started to wear dark goggles because about his light sensitivity eyes.. He wored those goggles for few games but NBA management banned them. I believe they were right because no one could see Wade's eyes clearly and that was wrong to have some advantages like this one.. Todays no one wearing them..

2014: We are in Miami again. The Heat star LeBron James wored carbon fiber mask for protect his broken nose. He wored in some games but NBA management asked him to wear them with clear color. I think they were right, just like Wade did no one able see his facial expression and that was very dangerous when they defence him.. The call was right for me.. After that LeBron wored the light coloured one..
