Recently having problems with the electric service in my residence, right now I have been able to enter again to Scorum and reactivate myself with the publications of the sports that I like the most highlighting the Basketball among my favorites of course. I hadn't been able to publish, when I commemorate the International Women's Day due to the problem I mentioned before and this post is dedicated especially to that, highlighting the main players in the WNBA who are at the top, as well as highlighting the teams that have won this interesting competition.
The history of the WNBA goes back to 1996, but the first game was played in 1997, where "Houston Comets and Minnesota Lynx" are the teams that have won more times, having 4 championships each. However, in the league have passed great players who lead in different areas, among these we have to:
Diana Taurasi
She is in the top of points with 8.549, where since 2004 she defends the colors of the "Phoenix Mercury", being champion 3 times.
Sue Bird
She is the leader in assistances with 2.831, added to this, she has won the league in 3 occasions with the "Seattle Storm".
Rebekkah Brunson
In the section of rebounds is at the top, with his 1.88 meters high, got 3.356 in his career.
Margo Dydek
She couldn't leave the blocks behind, so with her 2.13 meters high, this player stands out with 877 blocks in her career.
Tamika Catchings
This player is at the top of the stealing category, having 1.070, could never win a title, but was named MVP in 2011.
There is no doubt that all these players have left their mark on the WNBA and with this post I wanted to highlight how important women are for many of the sports and in commemoration of International Women's Day, it occurred to me to highlight the most valuable of this incredible sport such as basketball.
