Derrick Rose is discussing a two-year deal with the Detroit Pistons.
Last summer, Rose agreed to a one-year contract with Minnesota and took the FA. He played 51 games (13 starts), an average of 18.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 48.2% and a three-point shot rate of 37.0%. There was not a lot of colon due to injuries, but his performance was remarkably recovered.
The situation has changed since last year when Minnesota and Rose signed a minimum contract. Detroit seems to have come in contact with Rose. "As soon as the FA market is opened, Rose and Detroit will talk about his contract, and he will sign a two-year deal.
If he move to Detroit, Rose is likely to play a key Sixth Man. Reggie Jackson because there is a point guard. Rose is not free from injury yet. Controlling the time of the game and showing the explosive power on the bench is a realistic choice for both Rose and Detroit.
He was the youngest MVP ever in three years after being named Chicago's first overall pick in the 2008 draft. However, his career was greatly shaken by repeated knee injuries. he is traded to the Knicks in New York in 2016, and seeking a revival through Cleveland, Utah and Minnesota.
