Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors understands Kevin Durant's feelings about his calf injury.

Thompson told the injured Durant that "injury is the hardest thing for a Player. Especially if the team is in the championship game, but the saddest part is that Durant had to watch the game on the bench.

Thompson had a hamstring injury in the second game of the 2018/2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors on June 3. At the time, Thompson had hoped to play in the third game, but he had to watch as his team was defeated. Thompson then made a quick recovery and played in Game 4.

Thompson, who played in Game 4, scored 28 points, including six 3-pointers, but he was unable to defend his team from losing.

"I know how Durant feels. "I know how much he wants to play," he said.

Thompson, who is on the brink of a final elimination, said, "Tomorrow will be the sixth game, but we have to do everything we can for the return of Durant. "If it is to win the match and wait for the return, we should do it."

"I think Durant is one of the best players around me. In the last two years we have won in two finals. We are missing him, "he said, we are waiting for Durant to return.

"If Durant would come back and win with us like the last two seasons, it will be a fairly cool fairy tale," he said, dreaming of a miracle.
