The strongest 5 I've known. Look at that 3 MVPs between Curry and KD. DPOY Draymond Green and all of them All Stars.

C: DEMARCUS COUSINS

PF: DRAYMOND GREEN

SF: KEVIN DURANT

SG: KLAY THOMPSON

PG: STEPHEN CURRY

The only strong 5 that could match this at least based from individual credentials would be the Boston Celtics who had the following below.

ROBERT PARISH

9time All Star

Named top 50 greatest

BILL WALTON

NBA MVP

Finals MVP

Named top 50 greatest

KEVIN MCHALE

7time All Star

2time 6th Man of the Year

Named top 50 greatest

LARRY BIRD

3time MVP

2time Finals MVP

12time All Star

ROY

Top 10 All Time

DENNIS JOHNSON

Finals MVP

5time All Star

6time All Defensive First Team

I've never known NBA loose balance like this since the other Celtics' domination in the NBA's early years. That team was also loaded specially the 61-62 teams that had 9 players inducted to the Hall of Fame.

BILL RUSSELL

TOM HEINSOHN

CLYDE LOVELLETTE

JOHN HAVLICEK

FRANK RAMSEY

SATCH SANDERS

SAM JONES

KC JONES

BOB COUSY

Of course the NBA won't just die because of this but it all the more made the league boring. It's almost 90% sure Golden State was going to the Finals since 2016. With the addition of Boogie, Warriors just became indestructible. Boogie adds inside game to the already well rounded team's offense and defense. Depending on how and what the Warriors and Lakers do this off season, it's almost sure Dubs are on their way to a three peat.

The only chance GS is dethroned is if Kahwi Leonard joins the Lakers and hopefully they add more valuable pieces. The East is now weaker than ever. The Celtics will make a lot of noise and will reign East. Their performance against the Warriors, Lakers and Rockets depend on how healthy Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward will be. I am also excited to see Tatum and Brown back in action after their great showing in the playoffs.

I don't know if it's just me but this is how I see it. The Warriors is still the obvious favorite.
