REGULAR SEASON:

1. Expanded to include the Chicago Packers.

2. Wilt Chamberlain averaged 50.4 points and 25.7 rebounds while playing 48.5 minutes a game for ALL 80 available games. EASILY the godliest regular season stat line in NBA history.

3. Oscar Robertson averaged his only OFFICIAL triple double for a season, and the Royals won 10 more games.

4. Jerry West increased his scoring output by 13.2 points!!! Averaged 31-8-5 and made his 1st All NBA 1st team.

5. Bob Pettit averaged 30+ppg for the last time in his career.

6. Elgin Baylor a LUDICROUS 38.3 points and 18.6 rebounds.

7. The rookie Walt Bellamy took the league by surprise with his 32 points and 19 boards per game in the regular season, while being the MOST efficient player in the league. He unfortunately would not come CLOSE to that in his career. By win shares, he won 90% of the games the Packers won that year!!! 90%!!! And we talk about other players carrying their teams!

7. Bill Russell had the best all around stat line of his career, as the Celtics finished 60-20.
