There's a recent hot news circling around that a former first round pick of the Houston Rockets with the name of Royce White take a slam on Lebron that the King didn't try to get a single spot for his banana boat crew mate Carmelo Anthony and instead taking Jared Dudley.

I think it is a bit too disrespectful to also name drop Dudley in the conversation because it is not even an argument that Carmelo is a better talent than Dudley but Royce should atleast control his emotions before stating all that things.

But anyway we should analyze who is the better fit for the purple and gold rather than who is a better talent and overall player.

Carmelo's stats overpower Dudley's in everyway only the three point percentage is the one that Dudley is holding is ground on. As Dudley is not known to be a 3 and D player he is only a three point specialists. Melo is not a great defender for a former wing player who played almost his entire career listed at small forward but slide to the number four position in his last couple of seasons.

Melo could be the sixth man of the year if he plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and can be a scoring threat off the bench. On the other hand Dudley is a good role player but not on a championship contending maybe? But he can teach guys how to be role players as well because as we all know Melo and AD will take all of the eyes of the world.
