Hold up Mavs fans, that doesn't mean that Doncic is holding Kristaps Porzingis from being great its that they actually haven't gotten used to each other yet. Ofcourse no one else does that even Shaq and Kobe took couple of years to gel well.
But let's take a look some of this crazy numbers that KP is putting up if while Doncic is off the court. Porzingis is averaging 25.0 points per game while also grabbing 13.4 boards, KP also upped his defense where he recorded 1.0 steals and 2.4 blocks per game in this 5 game stint without Luka.
Ofcourse his games together with Luka are the ones that he just played coming out of injury so it is no wonder that KP is still a little bit rusty. Where he is only putting up 16 and 8 and an awful 38.9% from the field.
