"I'm here to stay," George said.
Like him, Derrick Rose will also stay, one of the star players available at the free agency market, in Minnesota Timberwolves.
The 2011 NBA MVP agreed to a one-year contract that costs $2.4 million, according to the source who has a direct connection to the matter.
Rose averaged 5.8 points in 25 games at Wolves in the past season.
Meanwhile, Dallas Mavericks and DeAndre Jordan agree on a 1 year contract worth $24.1 million.
The agreement took three years since the two sides agreed to obtain the unrestricted free agent forward, but changed his decision for the last time.
