The collection of Jimmy Butler, Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and J.J Redick have seemed to establish good team chemistry is such a short amount of time with Philadelphia basketball looking better than ever before. The match up today between the 76ers and the Grizzles proved to be an interesting match up with both sides coming into the contest in good form and both having good starts to the 2018-2019 NBA regular season. The number 2 ranked Philadelphia 76ers were too strong for the Grizzlies with terrific team basketball with Redick, Simmons, and Butler providing NBA fans with many exciting highlights giving the 76ers the 103-95 win and improving the 76ers regular season record to 17 wins and 8 losses.

The second quarter was the difference maker in the match up with the 76ers outscoring the Grizzlies 28-19 really proving to be too difficult for the Grizzlies to regain through a lack of firepower. J.J Redick when absolutely nuts in the 3rd quarter continuously rolling off screens and drilling mid-range jumpers which really kept the tempo flowing for the 76ers and showing how many weapons they have on the offensive end. Ben Simmons was spectacular with several put back dunks and huge on the boards to set up his teammates helping the 76ers get the victory. Jimmy Butler was very effective on the offensive end and it seemed like him and Ben Simmons have developed good chemistry showing too strong for the duo of Marc Gasol and Mike Conley.

Upcoming Games:

The Philadelphia 76ers next face the Toronto Raptors which is the showdown everyone is waiting for. The number 1 and number 2 ranked teams in the Eastern Conference will battle it out and my money is on the 76ers as the firepower they posses is ridiculous but Kawhi Leonard has been in red hot form lately so it will be a classic! The Memphis Grizzlies will next match up against the Los Angeles Clippers who are the number 1 ranked in the Western Conference surprisingly which will be a tough match up for the Grizzlies and we will see if they can improve their 13-8 regular season record.
