The Toronto Raptors have come out this 2018-2019 season guns blazing and destroying any team along their war path. Similar to the last season's standings as Toronto was the number 1 seed in the east, The Raptors have gotten off to a terrific start this season but their is one major difference? The insertion of Kawhi Leonard into the line up whilst having to sacrifice Demar Derozan over to the San Antonio Spurs could have been one of the hardest and most difficult decisions to deal with but in return be one of the best decisions the Raptors could have pursued. The Toronto Raptors just faced the Washington Wizards which proved to be an interesting contest but the Raptors have maintained their dominance coming out big in the first quarter out scoring the Wizards 38-26 establishing the early tempo of the ball game and showing a very good way to start the contest. The Raptors were able to hold off the Wizards for the rest of the ball game outscoring the Wizards in every single quarter except the 2nd, pulling off the 125-107 victory giving the Raptors their 4th win in a row. This win against the Wizards gives the Toronto Raptors their 16th win of the season with 4 losses leading the Eastern Conference currently by the difference of 3 games with Bucks in second place but that could be reduced due to the result of the Bucks vs Suns match up.

Game Stats:

Kawhi Leonard was the most impressive man of the ball game dropping 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists providing another MVP caliber statistical night proving that the trade between the Spurs and Raptors was a very good decision for his career. The superstar point-guard Kyle Lowry scored 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 assists to help get the Raptors another comfortable win. OG Anunoby who is a personal favorite scored 15 points off the bench which was very good to see as he had good talent and give the Raptors that extra fire power off the bench.

Bradley Beal tried to combat the Raptors scoring 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists displaying a good game for the Wizards but wasn't enough to overcome Kawhi Leonard and the flow of the Raptors. John Wall had a quiet scoring night with only 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 11 assists providing good help on distribution of the ball but wasn't able to provide any buckets for the Wizards to try make a come back. Otto Porter Jr. had a decent game for the Wizards scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
