The reigning MVP has finally returned from injury bringing much joy and excitement to NBA fans as we all want to see if he can back up last seasons MVP. James Harden has been impressive since his return displaying the same dominance he demonstrated through last years regular season aiding the Rockets to back-to-back victories.
The Houston Rockets started the season with a record of 1 win and 5 losses showing terrible signs considering they were nearly in the NBA finals last season. The Beard returned against the Chicago Bulls giving the Rockets a much needed. Harden posted an impressive stat line of 25 points (7-17 FG), 1 rebound, 7 assists, and 4 steals giving the Rockets a 96-88 win over the Bulls showing a low scoring contest. Carmello Anthony was also impressive coming off the bench which he has been throughout this season for the Rockets. The veteran dropped 17 points (8-14 FG), and 7 rebounds to help Harden and the Rockets get the victory.

The contest between the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers was a heated battle which went to the wire but the duo of Harden and Capella was too much for the Pacers to overcome resulting in a 98-94 win for Houston. James Harden backed his impressive returning performance by dropping a total of 28 points (7-15 FG), 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block providing a good all-round performance and providing NBA fans with exciting step backs. Clint Capella also aided the Houston Rockets hitting 18 points (8-10 FG), 10 rebounds, 1 assists, and 1 block displaying a good performance from the Rockets big man.
Victor Olapido tried to overcome the reigning Western Conference giants with an imposing stat line of 28 points (11-21), 6 rebounds, and 2 assists but was not enough to get the victory for the Indiana Pacers. Below is highlights of the game, enjoy!
Even though James Harden missed a few games of the 2018-2019 season, The Beard has still managed to have very big games and posted season averages of 27.8 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, 8.2 assists per game, 2.5 steals per game, 0.5 blocks per game, shooting a field goal percentage of 45.9 and a three point percentage of 43.1 which is a ridiculous percentage from downtown. Harden has missed a couple game but his still in red hot form and hopefully can continue to play at this high level.
