The battle today in the Western Conference between the San Antonio Spurs and The Los Angeles Lakers proved to be a classic with Lebron James going off dropping 42 points and absolutely taking over in the fourth quarter demonstrating why he is the best player in the world. Brandon Ingram suffered an ankle injury early on in the ball game due to landing on a Spurs players foot which resulted in the youngster sitting out for the remainder of the game and we are waiting to see how bad this injury is. The San Antonio Spurs were strong competitors and looked to be in a comfortable position in the 3rd quarter with Demar Derozan and Rudy Gay having very big games but the young core of Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, and Kyle Kuzma along side Lebron James were too strong for the Spurs and came out with the 121-113 victory improving their regular season record to 15 wins and 9 losses.

Lebron James took over in the fourth quarter with a few massive drives to the basketball resulting in 3 point plays and then drilling a very deep 3 point shot to give Lakers the momentum deep in the fourth. Lebron James then drilled another 3 pointer followed by a drive to a basket finishing with his left hand which should have been a foul but nonetheless sealing the deal against the San Antonio Spurs.

Funny enough both teams will face up against each other again tomorrow but this time in San Antonio. We will see if the Spurs can get there revenge or if Lebron will put on another dominating performance on the offensive end and give the Lakers their 16th win of the season.
