It has been an extremely emotional roller coaster since i start watching NBA especially in the case of Derrick Rose and his long run of injuries. I started watching basketball in 2010, the year before Rose won his league MVP and i remember the crazy speed around the court the young star had but also his ability to dunk on big men and provide some of the best plays in the early part of his career.

Unfortunately, ever since the 2012 NBA playoffs, Rose has suffered the long list of injuries and this has resulted in all NBA fans missing out on such a special talent for such a long time. Luckily for us Rose has stayed passionate and dedicated throughout this period and has given us another taste of the Rose magic that we saw in the early stages of his career.

The youngest league MVP ever scored a total of 50 points in the game against the Utah Jazz giving NBA fans and myself another superstar show for the ages. Rose started off the game smooth and composed dropping a couple 3's here and there and showing good passing skills to help Minnesota stay in the contest especially with Jimmy Butler missing from action. The former MVP lifted his game play throughout the remainder of the game displaying ridiculous high-paced basketball with beautiful mid range jumpers mixed with aggressive attacks at the basket.

The contest between the two teams was close and it came down to Derrick Rose hitting a number of shots including drives to the basket, mid range shots and also one or two from downtown giving the Timberwolves a 3 point lead, 128-125. The Utah Jazz also tried to hit the a 3 to even the game but Derrick Rose blocked Dante Exum's attempt ending the ball game.

Rose was very emotional after the game which was so awesome to see. He has had to endure a tough journey to get to this point and even though i don't know what it's like, it would be very hard not being to perform at such a high level with such explosive talent due to injuries and hard times. I'm so glad Rose is back to his normal self and i hope to see many more big scoring games from one of my favorite players in the game!
