I have been a big fan of the NBA for about 8 years now beginning from the 2010, Lakers vs Celtics where Kobe put on a dazzling performance and earned his way to his 5th NBA Championship Ring. This journey has been awesome and exciting at times but also has included heart breaks and upsets due to really enjoying the sport. I have followed this journey from Kobe's fifth all the way up to the Golden State Warriors team claiming their 3rd NBA championship in four years.

But out of all of these entertaining and competitive NBA battles and contests, one rises above the rest. The 2016 NBA Finals was one of the craziest, make-believe, and exciting NBA finals that i have seen of far with Lebron James and Kyrie Irving with the Cleveland Cavaliers overcoming the 3-1 lead the Golden State Warriors had built is the best thing in basketball I have seen so far. Lebron James is my favorite player and he was absolutely crazy in these NBA finals along with the superstar performances from Kyrie Irving which helped defeat the 73 win Golden State team.

The final 3 games where the Cavaliers came back and won the series, Lebron and Kyrie went absolutely nuts! In Game 5, Lebron posted 41 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists with Kyrie Irving also posting 41 points with 3 rebounds and 6 assists. The duo was awesome with heaps of spectacular threes and drives to the basket overcoming the Golden State team 112-97.

Game 6 was another crazy game with Lebron James not letting off dropping a total of 41 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists with Kyrie Irving having 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists aiding the spectacular performance of Lebron defeating the Warriors 115-101.

There was crazy hype around both teams going into Game 7. No one could believe that the Cavaliers was entering a game seven and that Lebron had a chance to achieve to do something no one has done before and come back from 3-1 down in an NBA finals series. The game was neck and neck throughout the first 3 quarters. It was a low scoring contest because both teams were obviously nervous. Throughout the fourth quarter, both teams were missing a lot and the game was coming to a close. With 2 minutes 50 seconds left in the ball game, the scores were even at 89 going into a time out. A couple of missed shots later, we find ourselves with Andre Iguodala going up for a lay up and Lebron James coming over and blocking it off the back board gaining the rebound. There is then a time out with 1 minutes and 9 seconds remaining in Game 7. With 53 seconds left, Kyrie Irving stutter dribbles twice and hits the most spectacular step-back three in the face of Steph Curry to provide the ending dagger that both sides where trying to find.

This is my favorite NBA finals and had a collection of awesome, memorable plays that will live on forever. Let me know if this was your favorite NBA finals and give me NBA finals that are awesome and crazy that i haven't seen before.

Thanks for reading :) and btw, I'm a Lakers fan!!!
