Damian Lillard looked unstoppable against the New Orleans Pelicans showing that the 28 year old has his sights for the league MVP. The Trailblazer's superstar helped his team get over the line against the Pelicans 132-119 giving Portland a season standing of 6-2 whilst the Pelican's loss hurt there record being at 4-4.

The contest was close throughout the game between both sides and the scores stayed in between 10 until the last quarter. Damian Lillard showed too strong for the Pelicans to overcome dropping a stat line of 26 points (7-16 FG), 4-7 from deep, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 assist to continue the Trailblazers win streak and showing that Damian Lillard is no joke and has his sights on that MVP!

Julius Randle from the New Orleans Pelicans had an impressive performance posting a stat line of 29 points (9-16), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal whilst coming off the bench showing to be a very good addition to the Pelicans squad but was not enough to overcome the absence of Anthony Davis and overcome Lillard's dominance.

Dame has been an absolute superstar this 2018-2019 season averaging 29.1 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 6 assists per game, 0.6 steals per game, and 0.2 blocks per game with a field goal percentage of 49.7 and a downtown percentage of 40. If the Trailblazers superstar keeps this sort of performance up then he may be in the running for the league season MVP as the superstar point-guard is due for one!
