"4 years. 3 World Championships. 2 MVPs. @ StephenCurry30 continues to work hard each day to prepare for next season. And on September 5, @UABasketball will bring him, his mindset and his will to win to the Philippines, China and Japan. Manila, Wuhan and Tokyo - get ready !, "AU announces on Twitter @ UAnews.

Curry and the GS Warriors had another dominant NBA campaign in the past season after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Finals.

This is the second time Curry visits Manila. He first visited the same promotional tour in 2015.

‘You’ve still got to beat us’! Curry

In the meantime, Curry does not mind remembering at present.

The defending NBA champion is happy at the birth of the third offspring, while the Golden State Warriors remain steadfast in re-signing Kevin Durant's contract and joining new teammate DeMarcus Cousins. And despite the fact that he will face LeBron James in the Western Conference, Curry is confident in the future of the Warriors.

Curry just shrugged at the thought that some of the Warriors getting Cousins were damaging to the NBA. Cousins joining, still recovering from the lump of Achilles, will feature five All-Stars in Golden State.

So everybody says how we're ruining the NBA - I love that phrasing; it's the dumbest phrase ever. We are always trying to find a way to get better. If we were just happy with winning a championship and staying stagnant, we would not be doing ourselves justice. Obviously with KD (Kevin Durant signing in 2016), with DeMarcus this summer, with the bench guys that we've been able to sign, everybody is trying to get better and we just happen to be the ones who set the pace and set the narrative around how you need to structure your team to beat us, "said 30-year-old Curry.

The Warriors have a great chance to re-dominate NBA with an elegant lineup, but Curry insists it is not a good game for a team to make a difference despite the success it has ever played in the past season.

Realizing the Warriors getting the Cousins is a total surprise, but the biggest off-season story is the transfer of James to the Los Angeles Lakers after leaving the Eastern Conference for the first time.

The Lakers are making the effort to take on James, as well as former Warriors center JaVale McGee, Lance Stephenson and Rajon Rondo. The Lakers really are a strong team this season with James coming, but Curry does not care about it.

"I do not know what they're going to be as a team, because obviously it's brand new and they do not have their identity. But at the end of the day they'll come together with LeBron leading the charge ... It's going to be fun for fans, playing (more) in the regular season and who knows in the playoffs. So the West obviously got stronger with LeBron but you've still got to beat us, "he said.

My Opinion about the Article

This really bring good news to the Filipino people that Curry will revisit Philippines again. It can really bring confidence to the Filipino fans to bring their effort more to be able to obtain a good winning in the international tournament.

Curry who has been an all-star in NBA, really gives a great impact to fans especially to Filipinos that are really into basketball sports.

There might be changes along the NBA conference in which we all know that Golden State Warriors has 5 all-star players making them really a strong contender to achieve championship. But still other teams like Lakers where Lebron James already there still be competing with good player lineup.

This coming season will be really a good matches on the West side. I will make sure i won't missed any games of my favorite teams.
