The Brooklyn did strive hard as they continue to maintain their current position in the Eastern Conference. The Nets were able to maintain usually with the help of Irving as he is capable of scoring whenever it is needed. But recently, their game against Washington Wizard was not quite a good one as their potential scorer seems to be out again with another injury.
This will probably result in another struggle for the Nets in maintaining their current rank but things may likely fall. The Nets, without Irving, could be a problem as their offensive power will likely decrease. If we backtrace their game against Washington Wizard, they are leading the game in the first half but drastically fall in the second half.
The Nets are capable of handle the game but worst came for them. It's only a six-point lead win for the Wizards, which I think Irving could pull those needed points if he was not injured.
