Former NBA player JJ Hickson was arrested after proving robbed a house in Georgia, as well as threatening teenage home owners. Hickson, 29, who has played for several clubs such as the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Denver Nuggets, is accused of armed robbery. According to police, Hickson robbed 100,000 dollars worth of goods in Senoia and wounded a 17-year-old teenage boy who suffered a broken bone. During the eight seasons playing in the NBA, Hickson was able to earn an income of 26 million US dollars. After a career in the NBA, Hickson is still playing in basketball leagues in China and Lebanon. According to Jimmy Yarbrough of the Coweta County sheriff's office, the robbery involved three people, but his side only held Hickson. Captain John Kennedy from the police said, "The victim was seriously beaten and the perpetrators took some items from the residence. We can recognize the suspects and their vehicles." Hickson enters the house through a side door and immediately attacks the victim. He covered his face and head in order not to be recognized. The victim then underwent treatment and his condition improved. Hickson is now in Coweta County's detention center on charges of robbery with evidence of a knife. Hickson played basketball since high school in Marietta, Georgia before playing for North Carolina State. He entered the 2008 NBA Draft and was picked up by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
