New York - The Houston Rockets star, James Harden, was re-elected as the 17/18 NBA regular season MVP, held at the NBA Awards night at Barker Hanger, Santa Monica, United States. As is well known, Harden managed to defeat two major finalists namely the Cleveland Cavaliers (LeBron James) and the players of New Orleans Pelicans (Anthony Davis).

Harden was again selected as one of the most phenomenal players in the regular NBA season. He was able to make the Rockets lead the western standings this season with the best franchise record of 65 wins and 17 defeats. In addition the Rockets also became a team with the best NBA regular record of the season.

Harden managed to bring the Rockets to the top of the western finals. Although he must accept a narrow defeat with a score of 4-3 when facing the Warriors. Apart from that the performance of Harden in the regular season is arguably quite special. This shows that, he is playing with the highest average points, achieving up to 30.4 points per match.

"But, this doesn't stop here. The road is still long, but it's very good to receive this award. Honestly this happened because I didn't know. As you know, last year I should have been able to reach it too. So I didn't see the difference between last and present. If I win it, I must give appreciation to all who have helped, given respect and paid trust, " said the thick bearded man (James Harden).
