Tonight is game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Trailblazers and the Warriors. The Warriors cruised to a game 1 win by 22 points and Steph Curry put in 9 3 pointers. The game was relatively close heading into the 4th quarter where the Warriors exploded for 39 points and pulled away for an easy win.

If this series will be competitive it is going to happen in tonights game. The Trailblazers must win at least 1 game on Golden States home floor. If they can't muster up an effort to put them at least close tonight it will likely not happen at all. I expect the Blazers to make some adjustments on defense and the Warriors have been anything but invincible at home. They lost 2 games at home to the Clippers in round 1 and escaped with 3 narrow home victories against the Rockets(4, 6, and 5 point wins).

The Warriors opened as -7.5 point favorites in game 2 and that has been bet down to -7. It looks like this will be the 3rd game in a row without Kevin Durant in the lineup. While they've had the benefit of motivation to prove they are formidable without him, first to close out the Rockets and then open this series, I expect that motivation to wear off a bit tonight. I'm thinking the Blazers put in a great effort in tonights game and at least keep this one close if not steal a win on the road in this spot. I'm playing the Blazers +7.
