What looked like another disappointing season for the Magic turned around after the All-Star Break. Since the 20-31 start the team has went 22-9 and advanced all the way to the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately they are facing a team that has a legit title shot in the Toronto Raptors. Kawhi Leonard and company will likely make quick work of this young inexperienced team in the playoffs. I expect the Raptors to prevail in 5 or 6 games at most (assuming nobody on their side gets injured). Hopefully we don't get swept, I think we can win a game 3 on our home court, we did split the season series after all but the playoffs are a different animal and I'm not sure this young team is up to the task of playing with the required intensity just yet. The season has been a success though, making the playoffs is a huge step forward and hopefully a sign of bigger things to come. Maybe we can attract some big name free agents this summer to solidify our young talented team. Only time will tell though, either way playoff basketball is back for the Magic, and I couldn't be happier!
