I don't expect much from the Clippers this season, but they will be one of the most entertaining teams to watch this year. Well, if not entertaining when unique for sure. And I am talking about Boban Marjanovic, the giant from Serbia, who dunked the ball without jumping last night against the Denver Nuggets. Without jumping!!! We always knew he is big but, boy, it is getting out of hands. On top of that, the game had to be interrupted after the dunk because Boban damaged the basket. I have seen many things on the basketball court, but this is something new.

I bet that Boban Marjanoic is not allowed to play H.O.R.S.E with his friends because no one can ever repeat his trick no jump dunks. On a serious note, Boban is actually a pretty decent player. His physical condition is terrible, though. Even yesterday, he scored 18 points, making 6/8 FGs and 6/6 FTs (surprise, he can also hit those free throws). It was obvious that the Nuggets had problems stopping Marjanovic. And yet, he only played 18 minutes which is ridiculous. I have no idea if Boban Marjanovic will ever be able to play at least 30 minutes, but if he can do that, he might become a decent 25+12 center, which would dominate against any other player in the paint. These are only my dreams, though, because, at the age of 30, it would be hard to ask 7'3 ft 290 lb player to run faster. That's not Marjanovic's style. He is slow and clumsy. But he dunks without jumping.

You know you are big when other NBA players look like kids from the playground

Of course, Boban Marjanovic has many flaws as well. As stated above, he is extremely slow and clumsy, making him a terrible defender and an anchor during the fast breaks. He is also useless outside of the paint because he cannot dribble at all. But you know what? I don't give a damn. Whatever anyone might say, the Clippers are doomed for failure this season, so I prefer to watch Marjanovic dunking the ball off the ground rather than Gortat playing your everyday mediocre NBA basketball.

On top of that, the Clippers have Milos Teodosic, one of the best passers in the league. He is not exactly made for the NBA because of his somewhat average physical abilities, but when it comes to passing, Teodosic is unstoppable. He is the closest version of Jason Williams at the current NBA. I will be eager to see how the Clippers will be able to take advantage of having both Boban Marjanovic and Milos Teodosic on one team. After all, if you manage to give the ball to Marjanovic in the right position, it almost guarantees 2 points. And I believe that Milos Teodosic is the best man to find Marjanovic. After all, both players are Serbian and have experience playing together for their national team, meaning that they have some chemistry already.

To think that Boban Marjanovic played for the Kaunas Zalgiris, a local team from Lithuania, in 2010 blows my mind. Today, the Kaunas Zalgiris is one of the top teams in Europe, but 8 years ago, the club almost bankrupted and had a shit load of debts. The team was pretty weak. And you know what? Boban Marjanovic was one of the worst players on that team, who only got the contract because he was 7'3 ft and had twice as big hands compared to the rest of players. So, when you say that Marjanovic is clumsy now, watch him play 8 years ago when he could barely make an open lay-up and used to turn over the ball 9 out of 10 times he touched it. Also, the next time you will try to say that size doesn't matter... well, it obviously does.

Oh, the Clippers also have Danilo Gallinari, who will make this season even more entertaining. I don't think that Gallinari is worth the money he is getting, but he is certainly someone you want to watch during a basketball game. He is one of the best shooters, who makes fadeaway three-pointers look as if they were good shots. Sadly, there are days when Gallinari makes 0/10 three-pointers and keeps shooting without any shame. Yes, he is not the guy you want to be your team's leader, but he is fun to watch. So, if you are the Clippers fan, forget victories this season and simply enjoy some of the most entertaining and odd basketball in the league because in the end - basketball is all about the entertainment and you will get plenty of it from Marjanovic, Gallinari, and Teodosic this season.
