Urban Meyer received a 3 game suspension following the decision made by the Board of Trustees at The Ohio State University. Is that ANYWHERE CLOSE to enough or what does this 3 game suspension EVEN MEAN?

Regarding the allegations that were against him shouldn't he have either been CLEARED COMPLETELY, or FIRED? Those are the two options in this situation. Suspending him for 3 games (who happen to be against the powerhouses of Oregon State, Rutgers, and TCU) is admitting that HE DID something wrong in this situation. I don't understand the fine line of suspending him. The board said that Meyer was suspended for mishandling of allegations of domestic violence against his former assistant Zach Smith.

This is clearly a defined stance the investigation said that Zach Smith did do these actions and clearly Urban Meyer "mishandled them" i.e. knew about them in some way. This is the ruling that took over 2 weeks concerning whether or not Meyer knew of these actions. Meyer claimed he did not know ANYTHING about it. Well that is hilarious considering immediately following the tweets and text from McMurphy, Brian Voltalini (director of football operations) discussed with Urban how to adjust the settings so any messages are completely gone that were over a year old.

And guess what? when he handed over his phone all of those messages had been erased. This is VERY concerning in the big scheme of things because those very text messages likely implicate him further. The Press conference was an absolute DISASTER. Throughout the entire press conference the name of Courtney Smith was mentioned only...ZERO times. These allegations against Meyer were about whether he knew anything about it. The domestic abuse happened, that is fact. Whether or not Meyer knew about it and did nothing about it is the point of this investigation. Once would think that he and the board would show some sort of empathy for here and at least apologize TO HER.

He couldn't even stand up there like a man and say "I am sorry for what happened, I knew nothing about it" to her. No, what he did do was embarrass himself and constantly apologize to "Buckeye Nation". I mean it is clear what it costs to keep a coach to win a football game. I mean it is incredible. The below is from different sources and the reaction is all the same...

The OSU board sold their souls in order to keep being a top tier winning program, that is disgusting. And now we know that a kid accepting a little cash like Todd Gurley did will cost you 3 games, a kid getting some tattoos paid for like Terrell Pryor will cost you 5 games, but withholding information and knowingly allow a domestic abuser continue to coach on your staff only gets you 3 games as well.

It's just gross...
