Did you see the #1 team in the land go down last night? The Duke Blue Devils hosted the unranked Syracuse Orange last night at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke was favored by a whopping 18.5 points but lost 95-91 in OT! This was the biggest loss by a home favorite all season.

I was lucky enough to watch Syracuse upset Michigan State last year in March Madness. They are flying under the radar this season but I have them as one of my Final Four teams. They had some bad losses early in the year but that was without their veteran point guard, Frank Howard. Keep an eye on him and the Orange!

As far as Duke goes, they have the two best freshman in the country. But they will need much more production and help from the rest of the team if they want to make a deep run at another title…

There is an NBA game that has my attention tonight. The Chicago Bulls (my favorite team) are playing at the Los Angeles Lakers. Lebron James is still out but my eyes will be glued to see the young talent on both teams. If you want to catch the action, it is on NBA TV at 9:30pm Central Standard Time…and I am betting on the OVER 216!
