Does anyone play draftKings on Scorum? I have been playing daily fantasy sports for several years now. The idea is very simple, you have a salary cap that varies depending on the sport or what kind of game you are playing. For example, in baseball you have $50,000 to start with. You must draft 2 pitchers, and one of every other position (3 outfielders).
So, generally during the football season, DraftKings offers a millionaire tourney every week. This is a one day Sunday tournament. The entry fee is $20. Here is a look at the salary cap, and positions that are required.
As you can see, the better the player, the more they cost. The key to cashing in one of these tourneys, is to find a diamond in the ruff, or that is a value player that will outperform his expectations.
Here is how the scoring works.
The last place to get paid is 67,166 and they would win $30 or show a profit of $10. But it is nice to see how a total of 5 million is paid out to those top 67k people.
During the baseball season, I would post my lineups on a competitors site, so now that Scorum is here, you can anticipate me loading up my millionaire lineups just prior to kickoff.
