For over 20 years now, I run a local pool where we pick every single game against the spread. Our local pool has about 9 or 10 people in it every year, and we do $5 a week, and $25 to the winner at the end of the year. We also toss an extra $5 if a player hits their tiebreaker (total points for one game).

So, I am going to post my weekly picks here every week, and hope you do well with the information!

From CBS pool site

For the first game, Philly is the defending champs, at home, and on Thursday night. They will win outright, but that half a point is killer with the Ryan and Jones combo on Atlanta. Im going to say Philly, but I will not be surprised if I loose by a half a point.

Cleveland gained a lot of great players over the off-season, especially wide receivers.  But Tyrod Taylor shouldn't be the guy throwing to all these great guys. So Im picking Pit to cover the small 5.5 spread. And didn't Cleveland only win 1 game.....in the LAST 2 SEASONS!

Miami at home plus 1.5 sounds good to me against Tenn. Miami traded Laundry to Cleveland, and Ajayi to Philly, but have utilized the cash wise I believe, just have to see if Tannehill.

Baltimore should easily cover the spread here. Bills do not even know who their QB is yet, and they all suck.

Brady might have to start using a cane or a walker soon. I kinda hope one of these young guys shows him a real NFL hit early in the season. Yet, they will cover easily.

Jax has been looking real good, and +3.5 against the younger manning who is also aging....Im going to say Jags on the road here.

Vikings should win this one by two touchdowns easy. They have young talent, and a pretty good D. 49ers haven't replaced their defensive guys from a few years back, and they continue to pay for it.

Tampa hasn't really seemed like they are even trying past couple years. New Orleans is nothing special in my book, but should be able to cover.

I like Cinnci on the road here. Luck didn't play at all last year, and those first couple real hits might hurt a lot.

KC against the Chargers is going to be one of the better games of week 1. I think this match up is so tight, I am going to take the points, and expect an over time game.

I like Carolina at home. last year they sucked, but do you remember the year prior? Also I don't really care for the cowboys at all.

Washington and Arizona, Redskins have the slightly better team, but Cardinals are at home. Im picking the Cards.

Lynch is getting up in miles, as well as a portion of the rest of the team. Denver is rebuilding, im going with Broncos here.

Green Bay is going to utterly destroy the Bears, just cause of @Rawdawg. Bears suck.

The Jets and their piece of shit rookie QB are going to be the worst team in the NFL this year. Det all the way this game! Kinda funny how they are getting these two teams out of the way for the rest of the Monday night games.

Rams are gona win, Goff and Gurley are way to over powered to be stopped by the raiders.
