In this post we're going to take a look at the top 5 National Football League teams by their revenue generation in 2019. The total revenue generated by all 32 NFL teams added upto 13 billion US dollars. NFL generates their revenue from lots of streams few of them are sponsorship, media and ticket sales. Now let's take a look at the revenue of NFL teams.
5) Washington Redskins
Washington Redskins is the professional American Football team, which was founded in 9 July 1932 in the Washington metropolitan area. The revenue generated by Redskins in 2019 is 493 million US dollars.
4) Houston Texans
Houston Texans ranked number three in the list of top revenue generating NFL teams in 2019 with the approximate revenue of 497 million US dollars. Houston Texans is among the most recent team as it was founded in 6 October 1999 and played their first season in 2002, But still they are here in this list.
3) New York Giants
New York Giants is one of the oldest American Football Team as it was established in 1 August 1925, yes 94 years !! The revenue generated by the Giants in 2019 is 519 million US dollars, which makes them the third highest revenue generating NFL teams in 2019.
2) New England Patriots
New England Patriots is one of the most successful NFL teams. Patriots has their own nickname "the pats". So the pats becomes the second most profitable NFL team by the 600 million US dollars in revenue. The team was founded in 16 November 1959 and it was led by the Tom Brady since 2000. With this huge amount of revenue the net franchise value stood at 4.1 billion US dollars.
Now before moving to the leader of this list read the revenues generated by above teams and then compare them with the top ranker.
1) Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys is the most profitable NFL team in the year 2019 with 950 million US dollars in revenue. Cowboys is the the MVF (most valuable franchise) worth 5.5 billion US dollars. The team is not only successful in business but also they're the champions on the ground. The team was founded in 28 January 1960. Dallas has it's fans all over the world which helps them to generate this huge amount of revenue.
