Well folks as I have done all season I typed out a nice recap of this past weekends NFL action for my regular Chops316 MMQB post. But there is one little problem: you can't read it right here on Scorum. I'll explain why in a second, but if you do have any interest in reading the post follow this link to Steemit: https://steemit.com/nfl/@chops316/chops316-monday-morning-quarterback-2020-championship-weekend

Sorry for the inconvenience, but don't blame me. Blame Scorum's so called plagiarism checker. What a bunch of bullshit. I've battled this thing many times before but this is the first time it attacked one of my NFL posts. I'm so pissed off right now it be the last time.

I know the plagiarism checker was made with good intentions, but it fails miserably. I sit down and spend several hours working on each of my posts. It is 100% my own work, I guarantee it. Obviously I'm not taking the game pictures, but I always credit my source. Of course I use a lot of facts and statistics to tell my tales, they are part of the story. The plagiarism checker disagrees I guess.

I'm going to start ranting here so if you want to check out I won't blame you. I take pride in my work and throwing any shred of humility out the window I produce some of the best content on this platform. I write my own posts and it pisses me off to no end when the plagiarism tracker tags me.

This past Sunday, like I do every week, I kept my pen and notepad next to me to jot down everything I see. Now obviously on a regular Sunday of NFL games I can't watch all of them. I pick up different pieces of information here and there but I still use that research to write my own damn post. I don't steal anyone's content. This week I was able to watch both games and I had plenty of notes. No research needed.

You see that chicken scratch? Yea it looks like shit but I can decipher my own work. That's one page, I had 13 in all. I put time and effort into this. The results are in the post that only got made on steemit this week. I posted here first and Scorum told me I would only receive 39% of my rewards for plagiarizing 25+ articles on the web. Fuck off. I deleted that and now you get what you are reading here. It is insulting to be told I can't receive rewards for my own work.

When I first came to Scorum I wrote NASCAR posts each and every week of the season. Then the plagiarism bullshit tracker came and started telling me my work was no good. I think my record was the time it told me I copied 42 articles. 42! What the fuck! I could no longer use facts or quotes in my posts for fear of triggering the damn checker, despite writing my own posts. So I gave up writing them. How could I write a god damn NASCAR post without telling you who won the race or where it was held? Well that's not entirely true, I didn't give up writing them. I gave up posting them on Scorum.

Same thing with baseball. I intended to write a lot of baseball posts last summer, but in the end only made a few. Same reason, kept getting tagged. Somehow my numerous football posts never got tagged but I don't know how. I use the same writing process all the time, but for whatever reason my NFL posts were always deemed good. Until now. So instead of my usual quality work you get this post full of bullshit. And I'm sure I'll get 100% of my rewards. At least I think I'm sure. Who the fuck knows.

If you are offended by the profanity, well once again blame Scorum. I figured one of the reasons my NFL posts avoided being tagged was because I normally dropped a few choice swear words into my posts each week. I only used profanity in a picture description this week and lo and behold my post got tagged.

I've wasted enough time on this shithole today. I've worked very hard to produce quality content on this platform and I'm tired of being slapped in the face and told my work doesn't meet their "standards". Fuck them, to be honest my standards are the only thing I really care about.
