The Rams are unstoppable, but it must be said that San Francisco has put it all to facilitate their victory, committing turnovers to gogo.

When an elite team meets a low-ranking team, the first usually wins. And this happened on Sunday in San Francisco, where the Rams won deservedly dominating in all three stages of the game.

There is not much else to say. If not that the problem of the Niners with the turnover has worsened.

The first drive of the 49ers, finished with a fumble of Beathard recovered from the Rams is the photograph of the whole game. A game in which the Niners failed to stop the Rams attack when needed, and their attack never managed to come into play, committing 4 turnovers and giving the Rams defense the chance to go on sack on Beathard 7 times (!). Another sore point were the receivers, who failed to create space between them and the defenders closing the race with impressive statistics (in negative).

In the end the Rams did not have to do much to win, 24 of the 39 points they scored are due to the San Francisco turnovers, all 4 Rams touchdowns came after 60 yards or less. In all the Rams have generated "only" 331 yards in attack.

If things continue like this the Niners could end the season with the worst differential of turnovers in the history of the NFL. A rather inconvenient record.

"It's always embarrassing when one loses like that," head coach Shanahan said at the end of the press conference. "We have to stop committing turnovers, once we solve that problem, we will have the chance to play football."

The game ended practically at the end of the first quarter when the Rams covered a Matt Breida fumble and scored a touchdown four games later. Even if only 10-0 in the lead, no one thought that the Niners could return to the game.

At the start of the second quarter, Los Angeles blocked a punt, with the ball rebounding in the endzone for a safety: 12-0. After the kickoff the Rams made another 34 yards drive and scored with a field goal: 15-0.

The 49ers responded by launching an intercept, on which the Rams made another 60 yards drive and scored a touchdown: 22-0.

At the end of the first half the Niners managed to score a touchdown with the tight end Kittle, the only real positive surprise of this season. But already in the third quarter Beathard made the third turnover with an interception that led Los Angeles to a 32-7 advantage.

The only positive note on Sunday, for the San Francisco team, is that the match was not broadcast for Sunday Night Football, making their humiliation just a local phenomenon.

Without Garoppolo the Shanahan and Lynch Niners have a record of 1-14, many in the Bay Area are beginning to ask if the new GM and the new head coach are really able to build a competitive team.
