Seventeen weeks of never making a single wrong move seems like a torture chamber no one wants in. Yet somehow the shining glory (and loads of money, especially Bitcoin) waiting at the end of the line never fails to reel people in. That’s the NFL Survivor Pool.

While many people think it’s impossible to not make mistakes, Survivor Pool winners prove otherwise. The game is quite a no-brainer, since all you have to do is pick a winning team per week in the regular season of the NFL. Do that successfully, and you get to advance to the succeeding week/s. Plain and simple.

But perhaps I’m speaking too soon here. The rules may be simple, but actually surviving it is a tough challenge. Remember that once you pick a team for the week, you can no longer choose that team for the rest of the series. That means you cannot side with the Patriots week after week because a) there’s no chance they’re winning it all, and b) the rules simply won’t allow you.

Remember that one time Tom Brady went down during the first quarter of week one? All survivor pools lost more than half of their contenders. Everyone who didn’t pick the Pats that week were thrilled. And that’s an understatement.

So to survive the Eliminator, you’ll need to play your cards wisely by lining up your teams in a way that’ll take you to the finish. Whatever existing knowledge you have about regular bitcoin sports betting isn’t enough to last you 17 weeks. Before preparing your list of teams for the pool, here’s what you should consider in your selection process:

The Records

Finding teams that have historically performed better than the others is the easiest way to make clear picks for the pool. The idea is to make it to the very last stretch, so essentially you would want to rally your best options instead of waiting it out before you unleash them. Saving the best for last is a strategy that will hardly work when you’re in an NFL Survivor Pool, so it wouldn't hurt to look at each team's records and decide from there.

The Home-field Advantage

People might say the home field advantage is slowly getting outdated, I say it will always be a matter of interest. Teams playing in the home field automatically have a higher standpoint because they are expected to work extra hard to win that game. While there have been many cases where teams let down their homes, stats say that home advantage still happens more often than not. Though I would recommend picking home teams when you reach the middle of the season. It’s a safer bet because by then the teams would have warmed up their skills on the field.

The Clear Losers

When you’re struggling to find which other teams have the highest possibility of winning, look for teams that have the highest chance of losing. It’s an easier way to clear out the road. This is a strategy employed by many in bitcoin sports betting. Ruling out the teams that are likely to throw the game will help you land a decision as to which team you’re putting your money on.
