If you haven't seen Barry Sanders play, if you haven't seen Barry Sanders run, you just sit back and watch one of the greatest runners of all time. I was skimming through some articles on ESPN and happened to see his name. I had to stop to read it. The article was phenomenal. An article by Jake Trotter, ESPN staff writer, about the 1988 season that Barry Sanders won the Heisman Trophy. The article is here (http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/24440133/the-untold-stories-barry-sanders-record-setting-1988-season). Do yourself a favor and read it. An article about arguably the best running back EVER. If you want to watch some good highlights, NFL films has the top 50 runs that is worth watching, as follows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBhn1wMyzV4
Just look at the totals for the games played in 1988, the Heisman year. Just phenomenal.

Looking at his stats for the NFL also, I still marvel at his durability. He very rarely got injured and if he did, he played through it. He played 10 years in the NFL and his last 5 were more productive than the first 5. He was at the top of his game when he quit.
Barry Sanders was not only a great football player, he was a great person. His on field humility was in stark contrast to what others were doing.
Just sit down and watch the highlights of Barry by NFL films. I never get tired of watching Barry Sanders run. I will entertain any and all comments about who you think is better than Barry Sanders. In the opinion of many, there were not any that were better than him. His runs, his ankle breaking jukes to defenders, speed, power are legendary.
