After two rushing touchdowns in today's game, Cam Newton currently comfortably holds the record for most rushing TDs by a Quarterback with 57. He currently sits 4th on the list for most career rushing yards.Only Michael Vick (6,109), Randall Cunningham (4,928) and Steve Young (4.239) have more.
In his 8th season Newton has the potential to pass Steve Young this season, and Randall Cunningham next season. The big question is can he catch up to one of the best Dual Threat QBs ever seen........Michael Vick. Newton would have to average at least 400+ rushing yards over the next 5 season to surpass Vick. Can Newton's body hold up for another 5 seasons?
Cam Newton is the only player in the NFL with at least 5 rushing TDs every year since 2011. Many Running back don't last to put up 50+ rushing TDs in their career. It is looking like Cam Newton shall go down as the best Dual Threat QB to ever play the game of football.
Who would you rather have lead your team as a Dual Threat QB?
