For over a decade, I have owned the domain name RogerGoodell.com, which of course (Roger Goodell) is the name of the often controversial NFL Commissioner. As a blogger, covering topics related to the commissioner and punishments given out to players who had not been convicted of a crime, I was contacted by a domain company promising to acquire the then-expiring domain name in exchange for $10,000.

I did not have the money, but I tracked the expiration of the domain name, and somehow i was able to purchase it for the registration fee of $10. Since then I have tried to sell it and even host a blog, but nothing really stuck. I have kept paying registration fees all this time because I still believe it has some value and is worth doing something with.

I enjoy being able to say that I own RogerGoodell.com, but I would much rather put it to good use.

I would like to open up the opportunity to decide what to do with this domain name to the Scorum community. There are limitations to what is possible because I do not have the technical skills to build a masterful website or a business around the domain name, nor do I have the time to create it, but I know we have skilled members of the community here if they are interested in getting involved, even if in a minor way.

The name can be forwarded or transferred if needed. So whether you think I should just forward the domain to the Scorum NFL section or we should create a Scorum NFL podcast, please share your ideas below in the comments. I am not looking to give the name away, nor am I looking to make money off of it. I just want to use it for something that will benefit the Scorum community.

Scorum community, what should I do with this domain name? Please comment below with your idea!
