If there's one thing you should remember going into week 2 of any NFL season when betting on games or playing fantasy football, it's FORGET EVERYTHING from week 1! Handicappers and bettors have to take the information from week 1 in when setting the lines, making predictions, and giving bettors suggestions for that week, but they often forget all other information, stats, trends, etc. because of recency bias.
In other words, just relax on what happened on week 1. If a team or player was expected to breakout this season and you truly believed that would happen before week 1 happened, you might get a giant discount on them this week.
Here are my picks for week 2 of NFL daily fantasy football.
Yahoo! Daily Fantasy Contest
You still have about an hour and a half to join this contest for free (US only). I love getting players with big upsides at a discount, which you can clearly see in this roster. Although he's sharing the load in Los Angeles, I can't believe Todd Gurley is only $18 (max is usually around $40). Running backs Kerryon Johnson and Chris Carson are also cheap in games that should be close and both Seattle and Detroit are dedicated to running the balls. With Tyreek Hill out after an injury, fire up Sammy Watkins who should have another monster week!
Sleeper of The Week
While not on the roster above, my favorite sleeper this week is running back Chris Thompson from Washington. With Guice out, Thompson will see an increased role and should get at least 7-10 pass targets.
Good luck! Do you have any favorite picks this week? Please share below!
