Defensive lineman Aaron Donald will now get back to playing football.  He had refused to practice and/or participate in any of the NFL preseason games.  Today Donald became the highest paid defensive player in the history of the NFL.  He agreed to a six year contract worth $135 million (including $87 million guaranteed).

The report comes via Adam Shefter of ESPN.

Now his yearly salary will be roughly $22.5 million per year (for six years).

Aaron Donald was a first round pick for the Rams in the year 2014.
