All-pro running-back Le'Veon Bell is still unhappy about being franchise tagged for the second consecutive year.  When ESPN asked head coach Mike Tomlin about his absence Tomlin responded that they are ready to start their 2nd year back James Conner.  Conner was drafted in the third round in the 2017 draft.  When reporters asked the team about Le'Veon Bell's absence they all deflected the question and then praised Conner for his production thus far.  James Conner is just 23 years of age and attended college in Pittsburgh before being drafted by the Steelers.

Le'Veon Bell's franchise tag is worth $14.5 million dollars.  When someone is designated the "franchise tag" it means they have a one year contract with the team.  In addition, only one player per team can be designated with the "franchise tag."

However, if he was to get hurt this season and was never able to play football again, then he would be S.O.L. (shit outta luck).  He would lose a ton of money that multi-year contracts provide.

Perhaps it's time for everyone to cut Le'Veon Bell if they drafted him in their fantasy league this year.  On a positive note, it sounds like James Conner would be a wise pick-up.
